Historic Downtown Conroe

Crighton Theatre
This historic theatre, established in 1934, is located in Downtown Conroe. It is home to several theatre and music groups and hosts several performances and events throughout the year. The theatre underwent a restoration and continues to be the highlight of Downtown.
Lone Star Monument and Historic Flag Park
This is an outdoor museum showcasing the different flags throughout Texas’s history. There are thirteen flags on exhibit, the specific number reflecting the thirteen colonies in Texas and the number of days the Alamo siege lasted. The park also features two bronze statues by Craig Campobella, a local artist.
Lake Conroe Park
This is a local and visitor favorite for outdoor recreation. The 13-acre park is located in Montgomery, TX, less than half an hour from Conroe. Visitors come here to swim, fish, BBQ, and picnic. There is also an area for volleyball games.
Moorhead’s Blueberry Farm
Head over to Moorhead’s to pick from 20 varieties of berries. The 20-acre, family-owned farm is open for picking from late May to mid-July. Moorhead’s is the oldest business of its kind in the entire state of Texas.
